Alcumus, the UK's market-leading business for providing software-led risk management solutions for small and large businesses worldwide approached Sauce to update external signage across their five UK offices following a rebrand. The sites are located in Aylesbury, Manchester, Stratford, Cardiff, and Huddersfield.
The project was led by the Alcumus procurement department based in Cardiff. The department was unaware of what sign types were in each location so the first step was for us to conduct a detailed sign survey of each building and produce a detailed report showing size, type, location, condition, and any suggestions. Following this, we produced visuals showing existing signs with a rendered version of the proposed design. We offered advice on new placement of several signs to gain the best visibility. We assisted with updating local planning offices although the changes were all on a like-for-like basis so there were no objections. We then got to work on the production of new signage for all locations and planned a one-hit fitting blitz where all sites were updated over a three-day period.
