We hit a hole in one!
Sauce were recently appointed to produce and install a full range of internal and external signage and displays at PAR 59’s latest venue in Bristol.
This is their second location following on from the success of their Cardiff venue.
We were involved from the outset on this one so helped advise Studio Severn design on the best materials, finishes, and colours to get the result they wanted and bring their vision to life.
Externally we created aluminium powder-coated sign trays with a 3D logo with warm white LEDs for a halo effect. The signs wrapped around the facia giving a dual-aspect display with a seamless finish. The sign was fitted with a custom illuminated projecting sign which gives extra visibility.
To get the effect required, we overlaid the sign trays with a gloss gold vinyl cut pattern. Put next to the satin powder coat this gives a great effect day or night.
Internally, one of the stand out features is the WINE DINE 59 lettering fitted to the glass rack above the bar. These letters are solid luxury acrylic with embedded LEDs to give a pure and even illumination to the rear and sides. The face of the letters were covered with a light-blocking vinyl and then a satin gold vinyl to match other internal fittings and fixtures. The backlight really looks great against the industrial mesh frame.
We also installed a number of LED neon signs, illuminated toilet wayfinding signage, lightboxes and acrylic logos.
The venue has just opened so we will be visiting soon for a round of golf and to get some additional photos so we can create a case study for this wonderful project.
